Two Minds

You always knew what to say,

You were there everyday.

It was like you were me,

If only others could see.

It was like you were always there,

It was like you were everywhere.

You never seemed like any other,

when we were around each other.

Baking Jake

Baking Jake

Jake tried to bake. 

Jake tried to bake a cake. 

Poor Jake could not bake. 

His cake came out big

and as fat as a pig. 

Poor Jake’s spirits were down.

His cake was anything but golden-brown. 

His spirits were down..

Until his friend Bryan came around. 

Jake told Bryan his cake was completely wrong,

and then Bryan sang him a song. 

Soon Jake’s spirits were up. 

He was so happy he went and bought a pup. 

He tried baking until his spirits were nailed.  But after a few more tries he never failed.
